Capital Banking Solutions (CBS) has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact).
The United Nations Global Compact is the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative. Launched in 2000, it now brings together more than 23,000 companies and 3,500 non-profit organizations across more than 160 countries, around Ten Universal Principles covering human rights, international labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption. In France, the United Nations Global Compact – France Network serves as its official local network.
By joining this initiative, CBS is committing to integrating the Ten Principles into its strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations, and to contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This commitment is closely aligned with the company’s activities. CBS develops software solutions (including CapitalBanker™, CapitalCompliance™, CapitalDigital™, and CapitalPrivate™) for banks, microfinance institutions, and wealth management firms, operating in markets where compliance, governance, and financial inclusion are key priorities, particularly in Europe, French-speaking Africa (WAEMU/CEMAC), the Middle East, and the Americas.
More specifically, this commitment involves:
- Integrating the Ten Principles — covering human rights, labor standards, the environment, and anti-corruption — into the Group’s policies and practices;
- Publishing a Communication on Progress (CoP), an annual report detailing CBS’s progress on these issues, beginning in 2027 and every year thereafter;
- Promoting this commitment among our clients, partners, and employees.

CBS will publish its first Communication on Progress in 2027 and, on that occasion, will provide a detailed update on its progress across the four pillars of the United Nations Global Compact.
