Nouakchott, April 28, 2026 – Capital Banking Solutions and EU Technology marked a major milestone for the financial sector at Hôtel Le Fasq in Nouakchott. This exclusive event brought together clients, prospects, and leading experts, all driven by a common ambition: to accelerate the transformation and modernization of the Mauritanian financial landscape.
The event was honored by the opening speeches of His Excellency Emmanuel Besnier, French Ambassador to Mauritania, and Mohamed Salem Hamedy, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania. Their remarks highlighted the crucial importance of technological cooperation and regulation in supporting national economic growth. We would also like to express our gratitude to Isselmou Boye, Economic Advisor at the Central Bank of Mauritania, whose speech on behalf of the Central Bank provided essential strategic insight into the regulator’s future directions.
We also had the privilege of hosting a prestigious panel composed of Salek Allaf, Chief Information Officer at Banque El Amana; Fabrice Affian, Chief Executive Officer of EU Technology; Amine Allagui, Cybersecurity Expert at Trend Micro; Mohamed Taya, Chief Executive Officer of BAMIS; and Julien Dumez, Product Director at Synapse. During the morning session, the CBS teams also took the opportunity to present their innovative banking solutions to the event participants.
